Anderson Silva may be the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC, so there is no reason to talk shit about Chris Leben. He may not be on the same level as Silva, but neither is Franklin. Would anyone argue that Frankin doesn't belong in the UFC? I hope not. Leben may talk shit, and he may not be as well rounded as many of the top fighters, but he certainly belongs and makes for some great fights. When Leben is on the card it is likely that you will see a finish (either him or opponent).

Imagine being an above average athelete trying to defend Michael Jordan. You have no chance. If you try to stand, his striking is on another level. If you clinch, his Maui Tai will find its mark. He's well versed in submissions, so it would be a mistake to take it to the ground. I would like to see him fight at 205lbs because to me that would solidify that he's one of the greatest gladiators ever.

I totally agree. A lot mma fights I have seen was either wrestling on the ground big slow punches. Putting a boxer against an mma fighter is really entertaining, look at the Rashad Lidell fight. Rashad used his hand speed and footwork to frustrate Llidell and eventually knock him out. I also find it funny that all the Lidell fans say that Evans is a pussy because he was boxing.

I know for a fact that a heavyweight boxer would easily knock out a light heavyweight mma fighter. The striking power that heavyweight boxers have is huge! They just don't use it as much in boxing because they have to go for 12 rounds. I'm not saying that a boxer will always beat an mma fighter I'm just saying that their hand speed, power and footwork is often a lot better than most of the top mma fighters.

Boxers have tried on many occasions to compete in MMA, as far back as UFC 2 when Royce Gracie was dominating. Ken Shamrock beat up an African American Boxer, I forget his name, in UFC 3. Boxing is just one facet of MMA, which is why a boxer gets ""shit"" on by ANY true MMA figher. You obvioulsy have NO IDEA what the hell you're talking about. Either that or you are being edgy for the sake of being edgy. Anderson Silva sould probobly knock out any boxer in his weight class in a straight up boxing bout. I am the biggest Anderson Silva fan on the planet. Toughest , most dangerous wellrounded and lethal fighter in any weight class or sportbar none. Those of you who say Leben sucks are clueless MMA fans. The same who think that KImbo is the greatest heavyweight on the planet. Watch some fights and have a clue before you post.
